This year I will be traveling to Colombia for the Thanksgiving break, I’ll be spending time with my wife’s side of the family.

I can’t remember the last time I wasn’t with my mom, dad, brother and sister for Thanksgiving.
I’m very excited to be travelling but I will still miss spending time with them.

One of my mentors said “Life is short, most people live like it will last forever.”

I know that I’m not going to live forever.
Nothing lasts forever.

So I am taking this moment to be grateful for the amazing people I have around me that support me.

I am lucky to have them so close to me.
My wife lives far away from her parents and brothers, so I am happy that we get to visit them this week.

While the people I love are still close to me I want to do a better job of letting them know how much I love them, and enjoy spending time with them.
