I've been listening to the Practice by Seth Godin. Seth's most famous book was Purple Cow.

As a real estate agent I spend a lot of time in my car driving from appointment to appointment, so listening to audio books helps me stay focused on my business.

The Practice is about having the courage to find that one thing you do, that thing you do well, and keep going! Finding your creative energy and having the courage to never quit.

Creativity comes from hard work and doing things over and over again, it does not come from a moment of magical inspiration.

Seth is a blogger, marketer, and author. He writes everyday.

It's impossible get really good at your chosen artform by not doing it day after day, year after year.

Seth writes that most of us do not have the confidence to be creative. We stop ourselves. We doubt our own abilities and this fear keeps ups from just doing it.

I've spent years making cold calls. Calling strangers asking for business. I've developed a fairly decent skill set when it comes to "closing" real estate business.

For me calling strangers is my "artform."

But I still have fears and doubts about what I do. Seth's made me realize this is normal. Most people let their fears stop them, I don't have that option.

Instead I make my calls everyday. After that, I must conquer the new fear, the new challenge. Which is marketing.

Since most of my business has come from making calls, I still feel that my marketing can improve.

To do it despite the fears and doubts. To just keep going.

So let me ask you.
