It’s so cool watching someone serve the ball with power and accuracy!
I’ve been playing tennis for four years now. Improving every time we play.
But the one skill I found the hardest to master was serving the ball.
I couldn’t wait to do it! But what was holding me back?
Every time I did it, I felt awkward, uncomfortable, and completely out of place!
If you don’t believe me try doing it once!
Playing tennis was difficult enough, but now I had to practice something that felt even more awkward?
You know what, I didn’t care.
I knew that these uncomfortable feelings would go away eventually.
I’ve always prided myself on doing the difficult things in life, stepping outside of my comfort zone.
That’s how I approach my business.
I can still remember that feeling of being sick right before I would cold call a “For Sale By Owner,” but I didn’t care I did it anyway.
Decades later, I actually find enjoyment in calling strangers 🙂
I’ve learned to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
That is where growth and progress happen when you push yourself past your comfort zone.
I never want to be the person who stops ME!
The world is tough enough, why would I limit myself on purpose?
Guess what? Eventually, my serve improved. So has my real estate business.
And I’m so excited to find that next thing that makes me feel uncomfortable!
