What Miami and Eckhart Tolle Taught Me About Real Estate
Last month, Alejandra and I took a short trip to Miami. It wasn’t just for the sunshine. We went to attend a seminar with Eckhart Tolle, one of the most respected spiritual teachers in the world.
It ended up being more than just a quick getaway. It reminded me of something that is simple but easy to forget. The importance of being present.
In real estate, everything moves fast. Homes come on the market and sell within days. Prices shift. Buyers and sellers feel pressure to act immediately. There is a sense that if you are not rushing, you are missing out.
But what Eckhart teaches, and what I was reminded of in that seminar, is that when you pause and become fully present, you gain clarity.
I have seen this with many of my clients. When they take a moment to slow down and truly think about what they want, the decisions they make are stronger. They feel more confident, less stressed, and more in control of the process.
It is easy to get caught up in the noise. Whether it is headlines, market trends, or outside opinions, it can all feel overwhelming. But when you tune all of that out and focus on what really matters to you, the path forward becomes clearer.
Real estate is more than a transaction. It is often tied to life’s biggest transitions. Moving into a new home, selling a family property, or relocating to a different city. These decisions deserve space and intention.
